The Mega Millions winning numbers for Tuesday, October 27, 2026, are 14, 19, 21, 45 and 67, with the gold Mega Ball 3. The jackpot for the drawing was an estimated $443 million, with a cash option of about $186.5 million, and no ticket matched all six numbers to take the top prize, so the jackpot rolls on to the next drawing on Friday, October 30.

Players across the country checked their tickets after the 11 p.m. ET drawing, and lottery outlets reported the same set of numbers within minutes: five white balls drawn from 1 to 70, plus the Mega Ball drawn from 1 to 24. For anyone holding a ticket, the question now is not whether the numbers look familiar, but how many of them match — because even without a jackpot winner, the game pays out at eight lower prize tiers, and the built-in multiplier can raise those prizes several times over.

Key Points

• The winning numbers for Tuesday, October 27, 2026, are 14, 19, 21, 45 and 67, with Mega Ball 3.
• The jackpot was an estimated $443 million, with a cash option of about $186.5 million.
• No ticket won the jackpot, according to early winner reporting, so the prize grows for Friday, October 30.
• A ticket costs $5 and now includes a built-in multiplier worth 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x on non-jackpot prizes.
• The jackpot has been growing since July 28, 2026, when a Florida player won an $800 million prize.

What Happened

The Tuesday drawing closed another week in a jackpot run that began in late July. When the balls settled on October 27, the winning combination was 14, 19, 21, 45 and 67, with Mega Ball 3. USA TODAY and other lottery outlets published the numbers shortly after the draw, and the Asbury Park Press reported that no one had won the jackpot.

That outcome keeps the jackpot alive for the Friday, October 30, drawing at 11 p.m. ET. The exact jackpot for Friday had not been announced at the time the Tuesday numbers were published, but with no top-prize winner on Tuesday, it will be higher than the $443 million on offer this week. Players who want to enter Friday's drawing need to buy their tickets before the cut-off in their state, which is typically 10 p.m. or 10:45 p.m. ET on draw night, depending on where the ticket is sold.

The cash option matters because most jackpot winners face the same choice: take the full advertised amount spread over annual payments that rise by 5 percent each year, or take a smaller lump sum up front. For the October 27 jackpot, the lump-sum figure was about $186.5 million before taxes. Taxes then take a further share, and the exact amount a winner keeps depends on federal withholding and the tax rules of the state where the ticket was bought.

Background and Context

Mega Millions is played in 45 states plus Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Each $5 play picks five different white-ball numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball from 1 to 24, or lets the terminal generate a Quick Pick. Drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET.

The game changed in April 2025, when the old Megaplier add-on was retired and replaced with a built-in multiplier included in the $5 ticket price. The multiplier is drawn at random for each play and is printed on the ticket. It can double, triple, quadruple, quintuple or multiply a non-jackpot prize tenfold, which is why the second prize for matching all five white balls but missing the Mega Ball is not a fixed amount: it ranges from $2 million to $10 million depending on the multiplier drawn.

The current jackpot run began after July 28, 2026, when a Florida player won an $800 million prize, with a cash value of $344.2 million, on a ticket sold at a Wawa in Bradenton. Since then, drawing after drawing has passed without a jackpot winner, and the prize has climbed to $443 million. That kind of run is not unusual for Mega Millions: because the odds of matching all six numbers are long, jackpots often roll for weeks or months before someone finally lands the full combination.

For context, the biggest Mega Millions jackpots on record include $1.602 billion won in Florida in August 2023, $1.537 billion won in South Carolina in October 2018, and $1.348 billion won in Maine in January 2023. The July 2026 Florida win sits just below the all-time top ten, and the current $443 million prize, while far from a record, is still one of the largest lottery prizes available in the United States this week.

Mega Millions Winning Numbers October 27 2026

Here is the full result for the Tuesday, October 27, 2026, drawing, exactly as published by the lottery outlets:

• White balls: 14, 19, 21, 45, 67
• Mega Ball: 3
• Jackpot: $443 million estimated ($186.5 million cash option)
• Jackpot winner: None reported
• Next drawing: Friday, October 30, 2026, at 11 p.m. ET

The prize tiers below the jackpot work like this. Matching all five white balls wins $2 million, $3 million, $4 million, $5 million or $10 million, depending on the multiplier. Matching four white balls plus the Mega Ball wins $20,000 to $100,000. Matching four white balls wins $1,000 to $5,000. Matching three white balls plus the Mega Ball wins $400 to $2,000, and matching three white balls wins $20 to $100. Smaller combinations pay $20 to $100 for two white balls plus the Mega Ball, $14 to $70 for one white ball plus the Mega Ball, and $10 to $50 for the Mega Ball alone. In California, prizes are paid on a pari-mutuel basis rather than at the fixed amounts listed above, so California payouts can differ.

Anyone who played on Tuesday should check every line on the ticket, not just the first one, and should check the multiplier printed on the ticket as well, because the multiplier is what turns a $2 million second prize into as much as $10 million, and a $10,000 prize into as much as $100,000.

Reactions and Quotes

Lottery coverage of the Tuesday drawing focused on the numbers themselves and on what comes next. USA TODAY's report laid out the winning combination, the $443 million jackpot and the $186.5 million cash option, and pointed players to the Friday drawing. The Asbury Park Press, meanwhile, answered the question every player asks first after a big drawing: no, nobody won the jackpot.

Other outlets echoed the same result while noting the second big lottery prize in play this week. The Powerball jackpot stands at $716 million, with a cash option of $307.2 million, and its next drawing falls on Wednesday, October 28. That means American lottery players have two enormous prizes to chase within days of each other, and the Mega Millions rollover keeps the Friday drawing firmly in the spotlight.

State lotteries and the national lottery outlets also repeated the same practical advice that follows every drawing: sign the back of a winning ticket, keep it somewhere safe, and check the claim rules and deadlines in the state where the ticket was bought, because deadlines and claim procedures vary from state to state.

Why It Matters

A $443 million jackpot matters for two reasons. First, it is life-changing money for whoever eventually wins it, and the rollover means Friday's prize will be larger still. Second, lottery jackpots of this size drive enormous ticket sales, and a share of every ticket sold goes to the state lotteries and the good causes they fund, from education to senior services, depending on the state.

The rollover also matters for players who play regularly. Each drawing without a jackpot winner lengthens the run and raises the stakes, and the built-in multiplier means that even players who miss the jackpot can walk away with prizes far larger than the old fixed tiers used to offer. A $2 million second prize becoming $10 million on a 10x multiplier is exactly the kind of outcome that keeps players checking their numbers the morning after a drawing.

There is also a caution that comes with every big jackpot story. Financial advisers routinely warn new winners to take their time, assemble professional advice before claiming, and keep the news private for as long as the rules of their state allow. A jackpot win is rare, but the decisions made in the first days after a win shape what is left of it years later.

What Happens Next

The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday, October 30, 2026, at 11 p.m. ET. Ticket sales for that drawing are already open in most states, and the jackpot estimate for Friday will be announced as the week goes on. If Friday also produces no jackpot winner, the prize will roll again to the Tuesday, November 3, drawing, which falls on Election Day.

Players should also keep an eye on the Powerball drawing on Wednesday, October 28, for its $716 million jackpot. Between the two games, this is one of the richest lottery weeks of the year, with well over $1 billion in combined advertised jackpots on offer across the two drawings.

For Tuesday's players, the immediate next step is simple: check the ticket against 14, 19, 21, 45 and 67, with Mega Ball 3, and check the multiplier. Even a partial match can be worth real money, and smaller prizes often go unclaimed because players only look for the jackpot.
